The Kirkwood Historical Society was founded in 1961. The Society, through its Board of Directors and Membership, seeks to discover, collect and preserve the history of Kirkwood and surrounding areas. The Society promotes educational programs, exhibits and special events and provides for the preservation of Mudd's Grove.

Our next Quarterly meeting will be Tuesday, September 13, 7:00 pm at Mudd's Grove, corner of Harrison and Argonne - you are invited to join us for our quarterly meeting.  


Special guests will be brothers Jim and Rick Lane.  They lived at Mudd's Grove as young boys with their parents and Uncle William Bodley Lane.  They will describe what it was like living at Mudd's Grove.


All meetings are free and open to the public.



Our Garage Sale is tentatively planned for October 15.  Watch this space for additional information as it becomes available.
